Transition for Y11 to 12
Moving from Year 11 to Year 12 is an exciting step in a student's academic journey but the change can feel a little daunting for some. To support students’ transition from Year 11 to Year 12 we invite applicants to attend an Induction Day in July. This allows applicants to gain an insight into sixth form life and the expectations of Year 12 study.
To further prepare future Year 12s, applicants are set summer work based on the subjects they have applied for. The summer work is designed to directly link to the specification they will be study and introduce them to the subject knowledge and expectations of A level study. Summer work must be completed and brought to the first lesson in that subject.
