Student Leadership and School Council
Fakenham Academy is passionate about students voice but also allowing students to take to lead in improving their immediate environment. Students can apply to be on the Student Leadership Team where they can express their views on what they can do to improve the school. The Team is divided into a number of areas in which are at the forefront for young people to make a difference.
Students are offered training in becoming an effective leader as well as trips to inspire their ambitions. Furthermore, students are given opportunities to make an impact in their local community and be role models for their society. This development from Year 7 prepares students for the duties in Year 11 as a prefect and into the Fakenham Academy Sixth Form Council.
