GCSE Results Day 2025

GCSE Results Day this year is on Thursday 21 August 2025, students can collect their results from 9.00am in the school hall.

Exam Information  

We have a dedicated Exams Officer (Mel McEvansoneya, m.mcevansoneya@fakenhamacademy.org) who is available in our Bungalow to speak to all students from Years 10-13 about any issue related to both internal and external examinations.

Don't forget, if you ever need any equipment for your examinations we do have fully stocked pencil cases available to purchase at £2.00 from the school bungalow.

Summer 2025-2026 Exam Timetable

The full timetable will be added to the school website when finalised by the Exam Boards.

IMPORTANT: Exams Board contingency date is Wednesday 24 June 2025 - All students need to be available up to and on this date, in case any exams need to be moved.

First GCSE will be for Drama: Friday 8 May 2026 am (not including possible BTEC's)

First core GCSE English Literature exam: Monday 11 May 2026 am 

Last core GCSE exam Physics: Monday 15 June 2026 am 

Last GCSE exam: Spanish: Tuesday 16 June 2026 am 

Last A Level exam: Maths: Thursday 18 June 2026 pm

Exam Certificate Information

Currently certificates that are not collected at Presentation Evening or by the following Easter Holiday are posted to the last address held on our system.

We have got a significant number of certificates from many years ago before the above system was in place. 

Please get in touch if you are not sure if you have ever had your certificates. 

If you have lost your certificates, we hold records of results for 10 years so would be able to confirm those results and exam boards. If you need replacement certificates you will need to contact the exam board, see details below. All these websites have info regarding certificates. See government website (gov.uk) for details of other boards and those that no longer exist.
